A Colombian sustainability consultant based in Western Australia. Two years ago I made the decision to chase a dream on the other side of the world, starting from scratch, building a career in sustainable construction, living as a digital nomad across the most incredible corners of WA.

From swimming with whale sharks in Exmouth to spending months photographing sunsets in Esperance, enjoying and falling in love with landscapes I'd only ever dreamed of seeing.

It hasn't all been easy. But somewhere in that journey I found aerial photography. A way to hold on to places that felt unreal. A way to share them with my family, thousands of kilometres away, so they could feel what I feel when I'm up there. Some of these places I used to tell them about, a long time ago.

That's what makes these photos so special to me. And that's what LAB57 Art Gallery is. My story, made permanent.
